Remember this post, where I referenced Backstreet Boys (yes, Backstreet's back), and I talked about how Rochester is a tease this time of year? How one day it can be 60 degrees and sunny, and the next day we can be accumulating 5+ inches of snow? Remember how I said that every March I swear up and down that this will be my last winter in Rochester? Remember how I said that I get more miserable than you can imagine when I'm still slopping around in snow for the sixth month in a row? Okay, I didn't say all of those things. But all of those things are true nonetheless. And today, my dear friends, it is snowing.
Snowing. In Rochester. On March 23. For those of you Rochester-ians reading this, you will be quick to remind me that this is nothing, and that we've had snow through May. Well, to all of you I say that the fact snow may still be coming in May does not make this day any easier for me. In fact, I just announced today to many of my co-workers that it "burns my biscuits." Who says that??? Me apparently, when I'm so flustered by the weather and the only thing that comes out of my mouth is a phrase from the 1800's.
So there ya have it. It's snowing. We're actually accumulating up to five inches today. And it really burns my biscuits.
I told you not to watch the weather channel!
