Cupcake Bar

That's right people, I wrote "Cupcake Bar". Wondering what that even is? I was too, and then I set foot in this place. 

Dollop is this new local business that makes gourmet cupcakes. The Cupcake Bar is a place where you choose from 15 different cupcakes-of-the-day, fill the cupcake with something amazing (like an oreo, fresh fruit, frosting, or marshmallow fluff), top it with homemade frosting (obviously the traditional vanilla/chocolate/buttercream, but there's also mint chocolate, champagne, cherry, and ganache), and then add a crazy topping (chocolate covered bananas, pop rocks, bacon, and even more normal things like sprinkles). 

I went with my dear friend Vic, because she was in need of a pick-me-up, and an amazing cupcake sounded like just the ticket. We both went for the pumpkin cheesecake cupcake with cheesecake frosting and dark chocolate chip topping. Wow. It was amazing. It's actually taking all my willpower to not abandon this post mid-sentence and go grab another one. I love pumpkin. I love cheesecake. And I love dark chocolate. Perfection.

Here are some of their amazing creations for you to drool over. 

Strawberry Champagne Cupcake. This will be my next victim at the Cupcake Bar.

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cupcake. Those cherries look scrumptious.

Boston Creme Cupcake. Inspired by my favorite doughnut.

Cookies-n-Creme Cupcake. This looks amazing. Are you hungry yet???

Blueberry Vanilla. This one would definitely be Johnny's favorite. 

Snickers Bar. This one might be Johnny's favorite too...he loves Snickers.

Chocolate Cheesecake Cupcakes. Probably similar to the Pumpkin Chesecake one Vic and I had, and probably equally as life-changing. 

Okay, enough willpower. I am off to get another cupcake right now. Please do the same if you live anywhere within 100 miles of this place. It will be worth your drive! And if you do get there, I'll be the girl in the corner with 25 cupcakes and frosting all over my face, so please say hello :)
